My artwork reflects not only my skills and my techniques but who I am. I am both my Mexican-American culture and my struggles; I am my mistakes and I am my achievements. My artwork grows with me, being molded into different ideas and drafted of different things that make the final piece. If my artwork is not my identity, but my identity is my artwork.
